This handmade English tile is manufactured from the finest quality Staffordshire clays, with dimensional, tonal and minor irregularities forming inherent characteristics. This tile is not recommended to be used as a work surface. However, Wickham can be used either as a fireplace or cooker surround, but please ensure the correct adhesive and grout recommended by the manufacturer for this purpose is used. As variations are one of the features of Wickham, please be sure to firstly lay the tiles out, on a flat surface, prior to fixing in order to achieve a satisfactory blend. Due to the rustic nature of Wickham it is advisable to space them with a wide joint, i.e. 8mm spacers are ideal.
